Job Summary

The Mundy Companiesa leader in the industrial maintenance services and construction fields is currently hiringthe following for a long-term position in the Orange Texas area:

SAP FORKLIFT OPERATOR
5 x 10 DAYS

Successful candidates will have a minimum of three (3) years of continuous and current experience as a Forklift Operator in a petrochemical industrial or manufacturing environment. Forklift operators drive gasoline liquefied gas or electric powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices to lift or move products equipment or materials. SAP experience is a requirement for this position.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus
Positions forks lifting platforms or other lifting device under over or around loaded pallets skids boxes products or materials
Unloads and stacks material by raising or lowering lifting device
May inventory material on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed
May load or unload materials onto or off pallets or skids
May lubricate brick recharge batteries fill fuel tanks or replace liquefied gas tanks
Manage inventory and track materials using SAP

The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time. This position requires a strong commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe efficient manner. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing is also qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check pre-employment drug screen and other qualifications as required.
