The Opportunity & Role Profile
An elite Independent School in Cambridge requires a professional HR Manager. You will lead the personnel function for a large and diverse staff body ensuring the school follows best-practice recruitment and employee relations policies while maintaining a robust Single Central Record (SCR).
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
Recruitment & Safer Recruitment: Leading the end-to-end recruitment process and ensuring all DBS and background checks meet ISI and DfE standards.
Policy & Wellbeing: Providing expert advice to the SLT on employment law performance management and developing staff wellbeing initiatives.
Compliance: Managing the schools personnel files and overseeing the HR aspects of payroll and statutory reporting.

Essential Requirements: CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) and extensive HR management experience preferably within an education or independent school setting.
