Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys combining hands-on People Operations with a broader European perspective In this corporate People Operations role you will be responsible for Germany while also contributing to European HR initiatives.
About the role
This role builds on an existing People Operations setup. Core processes systems and responsibilities for Germany are already in place ensuring continuity.
As People Operations Business Partner you are responsible for delivering high-quality People Operations services for Germany while helping to further professionalize People Operations across Europe. The role combines operational ownership including payroll and employee relations with participation in European People Operations projects.
You will be part of the European corporate People Operations team and report directly to the VP People Operations Europe.
The role includes regular on-site presence at our Heppenheim headquarters (Frankfurt area) Germany to support employees and managers.
Your impact
In this role you will:
Ensure continuous compliant and high-quality People Operations service delivery for Germany
Act as a trusted People Operations partner for managers and employees in Germany
Take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing for Germany in cooperation with external providers
Build on existing HR processes and identify opportunities for improvement and professionalization
Contribute actively to European People Operations projects initially through collaboration and over time by taking ownership of defined initiatives
Strengthen alignment between local People Operations execution and European standards
What you bring
You are likely to be successful in this role if you have:
Several years of experience in a People Operations HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist role
Practical working knowledge of German labor law and employee relations
Hands-on experience with payroll processing preferably in cooperation with external providers
Professional working proficiency in German and English
A structured pragmatic way of working and the ability to take ownership quickly
Experience working in an international or corporate environment
What we offer
A gross annual base salary between 60000 and 72000 excluding 8% holiday allowance and an 8% year-end allowance depending on experience
Travel allowance a solid pension scheme a sports allowance and a bicycle scheme
The option to buy or sell leave hours offering additional flexibility
At least 24 vacation days plus 8 ATV days
A flexible workplace combining working from the office and working off-site as long as we see each other regularly in person
