Job Summary:

In this Position the Hospitalist Physician is a board-certified licensed physician responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered care to acutely ill and/or medically complex patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) and other inpatient settings. This position requires a strong foundation in internal medicine critical thinking and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Hospitalist Physician will deliver evidence-based care ensure effective communication with patients families and team members and contribute to the education and training of advanced practice providers and residents if applicable.

Job Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

• Board certification in Internal Medicine.

• Current unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Texas.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

• Prior experience in hospital medicine critical care or related fields is preferred.

• Experience working in an ICU or managing acutely ill patients is highly desirable.
