Job Title: Product Owner Designer
Location: Canada Remote
Role Overview We are seeking a mid-level Product Owner Designer to support high-priority initiatives within the HCM (Human Capital Management) domain. This is a full-time long-term engagement where the designer will work under the guidance of a Lead Designer and/or Design Manager contributing to complex user-centered product design efforts.
Key Responsibilities -
Support priority HCM design projects contributing to end-to-end UX activities across multiple initiatives.

Work under the direction of a Lead Designer and/or Design Manager to execute design deliverables aligned with product goals.

Apply UX best practices to design intuitive and effective user experiences for complex use cases and workflows.

Translate business and product requirements into Design Requirement Documents (DRDs).

Plan track and manage design tasks using Jira operating within 2-week Agile sprints.

Produce low to medium fidelity design assets as required by project scope and timelines.

Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Development teams to refine designs validate assumptions and evolve solutions.

Partner with the broader design team to ensure all work is reviewed approved and ready prior to development handoff.

Provide frequent status updates and progress communication to stakeholders and design leadership throughout each sprint.

Ensure designs are feasible scalable and aligned with overall product and platform standards.
Key Skills & Experience -
Mid-level experience in UX/Product Design preferably within enterprise or HCM-focused products.

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles complex user flows and interaction design.

Experience working in Agile environments including sprint planning and Jira-based task tracking.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including PMs engineers and fellow designers.

Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and trade-offs.

Experience creating design documentation and assets suitable for development handoff
