We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a SAP Supply Chain & Logistics Senior Engineer role with our client This position is a backfill due to an internal relocation with an expanded workload.
The role is fully onsite at a smaller assembly-line manufacturing facility with a lean 3-person team. The selected candidate will serve as the primary onsite SAP expert working closely with global IT teams across the U.S. Taiwan and Europe.
This is a hands-on techno-functional role requiring strong experience across SAP logistics and manufacturing modules.
- Support and optimize SAP S/4HANA operations while aligning the site with global ERP templates
- Partner with local Business Process Owners (BPOs) to drive process improvements
- Provide first-level SAP support and daily operational support onsite
- Lead SAP logistics initiatives across:
- PP (Production Planning)
- QM (Quality Management)
- EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
- EAM (Enterprise Asset Management)
- MM (Materials Management)
- SD (Sales & Distribution)
- Conduct fit/gap analysis lead design workshops and define template-aligned processes
- Analyze and optimize supply chain logistics and manufacturing workflows
- Create functional specifications and RICEFW documentation
- Support system configuration and enhancements
- Execute functional integration and UAT testing
- Safeguard data integrity and ensure system reliability
- Collaborate closely with global IT teams
- 7 years of experience as an SAP Specialist Engineer or Business Analyst
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- QM (Quality Management)
- EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
- PP (Production Planning)
- Solid understanding of:
- Intralogistics
- Material flow
- Assembly/manufacturing environments
- Quality processes
- Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science Logistics Manufacturing or a related field (preferred)
- Warehouse operations experience
- Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing
