Job Summary

Pay Rate: $ 23.50 / hour

We have partnered with a Non-profit Organization in the Fort Sill OK area to provide them with a HVAC Mechanic. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized must haves for the HVAC Mechanic:

#1. At least five years of HVAC experience or a combination of experience and formal vocational training.

#2. EPA Universal Certification.

Requirements for the HVAC Mechanic:

At least five years of HVAC experience or a combination of experience and formal vocational training.
EPA Universal Certification.
Mechanical Journeyman License preferred. Ability to obtain within three years recommended.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Ability to cut modify thread repair and install steel or copper piping for natural gas or water piping using threading machines mapp gas or pro press.
Requires ability to use hand tools power tools and equipment required for installation maintenance and repair.
Ability to effectively read write and speak the English language.
Ability to work as a team member.
Self-starter able to work with minimal direction and supervision.

Other Requirements:

Ability to pass criminal drug and driving screening.
Possess valid drivers license and maintain good driving record.
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
Required to be able to lift 50 lbs. up to 10 times per day.
Regularly required to stand walk and climb ladders.
Frequently required to kneel squat bend and reach.

Other Key Requirements:

On site role
No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
This position has set hours of Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 year-round with minimal overtime.
