Role Summary
We are seeking a Training Coordinator & Lead Trainer to design manage and deliver end-to-end training for our SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role will be responsible for training strategy curriculum design logistics coordination and facilitation for approximately 635 internal end users a group of external users/customers super-users and process owners across business departments and functions. The position requires hands-on SAP S/4 training experience. The ideal candidate has demonstrated excellence in coordinating multi-track training and has the ability to produce a variety of high-quality training materials tailored to our processes user roles and Fiori-based workflows.
This role partners closely with Project Management Change Management Project Leads and Business Process Owners.
The Port project encompasses the SAP S/4 upgrade Ariba modules (Supplier Sourcing & Contract Management) Fieldglass and WalkMe.
On-Site & Travel: Prefer several days a week on-site during the pre-live period. Must be on-site for training events.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- With the OCM Lead build the end-to-end training plan.
- Conduct training needs analysis map curricula to roles and process areas.
- Define training objectives scope timelines resource needs and training waves
- Establish standards for training materials (job aids simulations eLearning quick reference guides instructor guides).
Content Design & Development
- Create and maintain role-based curricula and learning paths covering key S/4HANA processes and Fiori apps.
- Develop training assets (presentations exercises process maps SOPs recordings eLearning) tailored to our configured system.
- Leverage SAP WalkMe to build simulations and guided tours; manage content lifecycle/versioning.
- Collaborate with business process owners to ensure content reflects approved future-state designs and security roles.
Logistics & Coordination
- Coordinate class scheduling instructor assignments room/virtual setup enrollment and attendance tracking.
- With the Port HR Learning team administer the SAP SuccessFactors LMS for course catalogs learning paths SCORM content publishing.
- Manage training communications and training calendars.
- The training team (staff business train-the-trainers) deliver live training (virtual and onsite).
- Coach super-users and Business Process Owners to co-facilitate sessions and provide floor support during cutover/hypercare.
Readiness & Change Enablement
- Align training with change impacts policy updates and data readiness; collaborate with Organizational Change Management lead.
- Support UAT training and data migration rehearsal; tailor scenarios to test data and realistic process steps.
- Help prepare cutover and hypercare playbooks (who to call common issues day in the life guides).
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Set targets and track training metrics (enrollment completion proficiency) and evaluate outcomes using Kirkpatrick Model or similar model.
- Produce adoption dashboards; identify gaps and roll out targeted booster modules as needed.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and curate FAQs known issues and tip sheets.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years coordinating developing and delivering training for SAP S/4HANA (or ECC with recent S/4 upgrades) including Fiori.
- Proven experience developing role-based training materials and managing multi-track training programs. Candidates will be expected to provide 2 3 sample training assets (eLearning job aid instructor guide process simulation).
- Hands-on proficiency with LMS (preferably SuccessFactors LMS) and content tools (e.g. Articulate 360 Captivate Camtasia PowerPoint).
- Strong facilitation skills for diverse audiences (front-line to executive) including virtual training best practices.
- Excellent project coordination: calendars dependency management budget tracking and stakeholder communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Actual business experience in Finance or Procurement areas.
- Experience with key SAP S/4 modules relevant to our departments & SAP functionality: Finance Procurement Field Operations (Plant Maintenance) Human Resources. SAC Analytics and Datasphere experience is a bonus.
- Experience with SAP WalkMe and SAP Ariba.
- Certifications: SAP S/4HANA (module or enterprise) Prosci/ADKAR (Change Management) ATD CPTD PMP/Agile.

- Business process literacy (can translate configured processes into practical training).
- Collaboration & influence (works across IT business vendors; coaches super-users).
