We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SDET Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java Selenium API Automation SQL and ETL testing along with solid experience in the Banking & Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will be hands-on detail-oriented and capable of working in complex data-driven and containerized environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and execute automated test scripts using Java Selenium and RestAssured
Perform API automation testing and backend service validation
Develop and maintain ETL test cases to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Write complex SQL queries for data validation and DB connectivity testing
Ensure test coverage for clustered and non-clustered data environments
Collaborate with developers BAs and stakeholders to understand requirements
Set up and manage test environments using Kubernetes and containerized solutions
Troubleshoot debug and resolve automation and data-related issues
Create detailed test design documents and test reports
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support CI/CD processes

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of experience in Automation Testing / SDET roles
Strong proficiency in Java and automation frameworks (TestNG JUnit)
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
Strong experience in API testing (Postman RestAssured)
Excellent command of SQL and database concepts
Proven experience in ETL testing and data validation
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
Banking & Financial Services domain experience (mandatory)
Strong understanding of SDLC STLC Agile methodologies
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions etc.)
Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
Knowledge of Data Warehousing / Big Data platforms
Experience with performance testing tools is a plus
