On behalf of our Swiss Partner we are looking for a full-time live-out Nanny to care for their 10-month-old baby girl. The area is well connected by public transport so no driving is required. Both parents work full time and may occasionally work from home.
The role is Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with a likely schedule of either 8.00 am to 4.00 pm or 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. This is a sole and shared care position.
The main focus of the role is caring for the baby ensuring her safety wellbeing and happiness. Duties include planning age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities following her daily routine in a calm and flexible way preparing baby food tidying toys and keeping child-related areas organised. No general housekeeping is expected.
The baby has lactose intolerance and a casein sensitivity so careful attention to her diet is essential. The family does not currently have pets but may consider a dog in the future.
The ideal candidate has experience with babies speaks good English or Hungarian is a non-smoker and is kind reliable punctual and warm-hearted. A flexible easy-going nature and a genuine interest in child development are important.
Requirements
EU or Swiss passport or has a Swiss work permit.
Up to date criminal background check.
Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
Good references for recent and relevant nanny work
Childcare qualifications preferred
Able to run after and lift small children
Required Skills:
-Strong ability to create a nurturing educational atmosphere -Excellent communication and organizational skills -Punctual reliable and legally able to work in the UK Enhanced DBS dated this month (or on DBS update service) Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate Right to work in UK (& already living in London) Good references for recent and relevant nanny work Able to run after small children Be able to engage in play at floor level for extended periods of time and get up from the floor quickly. Fluent English. Living within reasonable commutable distance Please note this is a strictly Non smoking position. Discretion and privacy is essential
