Job Summary

Our client Waycon Manufacturing Ltd. based in Penticton BC is a leading industrial equipment and machinery manufacturer serving clients across North America. Known for delivering high-quality custom-built solutions they support a wide range of industries from a two-acre facility equipped with advanced in-house machinery state-of-the-art tooling and cutting-edge engineering technology. Their capabilities span concept design CNC machining fabrication welding painting assembly and testing.

They are seeking a skilled Fabricator Journeyman to join their this key role you will fabricate high-precision components and assemblies in steel stainless steel and aluminum taking projects from blueprint to final product. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic problem-solving skills and a dedication to producing high-quality safe workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Expertly fabricate components and assemblies in accordance with technical specifications and blueprints utilizing advanced fabrication techniques;
Perform rigorous quality inspections to ensure all products meet stringent safety and quality standards;
Collaborate closely with team members to achieve manufacturing goals and enhance production efficiency;
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment;
Support complex custom projects that demand creativity precision and problem-solving.

Requirements

Red Seal Journeyman Fabricator (required);
Minimum 5 years of hands-on metal fabrication experience;
Strong proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and other relevant fabrication techniques;
Excellent blueprint reading skills and ability to interpret complex technical drawings;
High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards;
Self-motivated proactive and able to work independently or collaboratively within a team;
Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive hourly wage: $20$40/hour depending on experience and qualifications;
