Level 2 Senior Technical Support Engineer MSP
South County Dublin On-site office based
Stack & Co Recruitment is working with a small well-established Managed Service Provider based in South County Dublin that is entering an important growth phase. Were hiring a strong experienced Level 2 Senior Technical Support Engineer who is comfortable taking ownership of technical issues and supporting SME clients to a high standard.
This role will particularly suit someone already living in South County Dublin or nearby who values a shorter commute and being part of a small close-knit technical team.
The Role
This is a pure Level 2 position within a micro-MSP environment. Youll be supporting an existing customer base handling technical issues end-to-end and contributing to project work as required.
Youll be trusted to work independently manage your own workload and deliver reliable consistent support with minimal escalation. Previous MSP experience is essential.
You will have access to project work and a rapid pathway up to Level 3.
What Youll Be Doing
Providing Level 2 technical support to SME clients primarily remote with occasional rare on-site visits
Troubleshooting and resolving issues across:
Windows desktop and server environments
Active Directory (on-prem and hybrid)
Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
Microsoft 365 (Exchange SharePoint OneDrive Teams)
Azure AD / Entra ID
Azure Virtual Desktop and core Azure services
Networking fundamentals firewalls and connectivity
Owning tickets through to resolution and communicating clearly with clients throughout
Carrying out routine system checks updates patching and preventative maintenance
Supporting project work such as migrations upgrades and new client onboarding
Creating and maintaining clear technical documentation and knowledge base content
Working closely with the business owner to help improve technical standards and processes
Some infrequent client site visits are required. A full clean Irish driving licence and access to a car are essential. Mileage is fully reimbursed.
Requirements
What Were Looking For
Strong proven experience operating as a Level 2 Senior Technical Support Engineer in an MSP environment
Hands-on practical experience with:
Windows desktop and server
Active Directory
Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
Microsoft 365 administration
Azure AD / Entra ID
Networking fundamentals and firewalls
Confident and professional when dealing directly with customers
Comfortable working independently in a small MSP setting
Well organised reliable and customer-focused
Able to prioritise workload and manage time effectively
Relevant certifications (Microsoft CompTIA etc.) are beneficial but real-world MSP experience is the priority.
You need a full Irish driving license & your own car.
