Our Acquisition & Onboarding scaled sales motion seeks to acquire thousands of net new advertisers across all major EMEA ad. markets and help them to successfully onboard LinkedIn ads. From there we seek to help them achieve their advertising & marketing goals and deliver sustained results over time.
We are now creating a new bespoke sales motion with a narrower and more targeted focus on HIPO acquisition where we will engage large net new prospects and seek to have them advertise with LinkedIn for the first time. The role will have responsibility for multiple markets in EMEA. The sales cycle will be longer the budgets larger and the client needs more complex. We will partner with our LMS Agency Support teams as well as all LMS segments and other Lines of Business to generate opportunities as well as explore targeted outreach strategies.
We are looking for an experienced sales professional to build out this sales motion. In this pivotal role you will be responsible for acquiring new clients from diverse lead sources and your key responsibilities will encompass lead management prospecting managing pipelines owning the full sales cycle and forecasting. You will also be tasked with creating joint playbooks establishing handoff processes developing enablement materials and collaborating with cross-functional partners in enablement systems and tools and marketing. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional enterprise seller with a proven track record of success.
You will be at the frontline of helping large prospects advertise on LinkedIn for the first time & support the delivery of results to mutual benefit. You will work with all relevant internal LinkedIn teams to develop our go-to-market strategy and quickly gain expertise across the LMS product suite as well as our systems & tools to achieve overall sales motion excellence.
Whilst primarily focused on supporting new customer acquisition in the first instance this role also has an important part to play in making sure that the subsequent campaign activation / transfer to other managed LMS sales teams is seamless and results in campaign success and onward growth for all parties. Inbound & Outbound sales channels will form part of the go-to-market.
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop our HIPO acquisition sales motion while being responsible for managing your own sales book and quota.
- Partner with all relevant internal LMS teams (Agency Sales Segments Cross-Functional Partners) and be the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions expert to help our largest prospects with complex product issues emerging product offerings and the provision of best-in-class support to new advertisers.
- Assist the EMEA Sales Director with the management and reporting of all relevant KPIs provide updates on sales pipeline and sales forecast
- Similarly you will be expected to partner with your peers in similar roles across EMEA NAMER & APAC to ensure a consistency of go-to-market in all regions share best practices and leverage learnings.
- Ensure the delivery of an optimised customer experience for customers transitioning from one team to the other.
- Prospect into marketing decision makers at B2B companies and advise prospective customers on how they can most effectively utilize LinkedIns range of marketing solutions
- Manage complex RFPs requests as required.
- Participate in cross functional projects with the wider Acquisition & Onboarding sales teams and XFN partners to drive sales excellence
- Be a thought partner for the Director of Acquisition & XFP leads to make sure that the voice-of-field is appropriately represented in programme design at all times.
- Juggle multiple priorities as we seek to build a world-class acquisition engine for LMS and be prepared to flex according to the ever-changing business need.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- 7 years of directly relevant B2B advertising sales experience
- 5 years in a quota carrying sales role
- 5 yrs Digital Advertising sales experience
- 2 years of proven experience of working with Agency partners across media sales
- Business fluency in English and Business fluency in French
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem
- Advanced knowledge of LinkedIn platform and product features relevant internal/external tools and policies
- Ability to partner and collaborate with XFN partners to drive common goals
- Strong communication skills - written & verbal - and a high degree of comfort in creating reporting & presentation decks for use by Mgt.
- Experience working with complex agency referrals and full cycle enterprise sales for net new business
- Familiarity with scaled sales tools (SFDC Gong Saleloft etc.)
- Proven track-record of exceeding quota in an enterprise sales scope
- Proven ability to manage a sizable volume of clients / accounts
- Proven ability to build and scale projects
