The Manager Medical Education leads a team of medical education training professionals to facilitate develop and execute product training programs for internal and external customers. The team directly supports curriculum development and program design for national programs upstream education development and product launch support across the US regions and global regions. The Manager Medical Education will work directly with KOLs consistently to gather VOC and identify their training abilities across education. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders including marketing sales sales training teaching institution managers and compliance to foster an open feedback loop that informs a continuous improvement mindset. The job requires oversight of national education programs both virtual and in-person with a strong focus on driving the engagement and development of surgeons and KOLs.
This manager would require good analytical skills and evaluative judgment based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated or novel situations. The complexity implied at this level of problem-solving relates to the ability to filter prioritize analyze and validate potentially complex and dynamic education programs.
In this role you will be required to travel up to 30% to national education programs plus some business related meeting and industry events.
What you will do
Responsible for the product program or portfolio strategy
Interpret competitive landscape and incorporate into marketing strategy
Author key strategy documents: strategic plan annual marketing plan product launch plans etc
Deploy resources to measure monitor and direct changes to marketing strategy to drive customer engagement
Drive segmentation and targeting methods to improve commercial efficiency
Establish pricing strategy that assures alignment with overall business goals and P&L drivers
Establish metrics and goals/success criteria and milestones
Conduct post-launch analysis and implements lessons learned
Forecast sales while considering the market product and other valuable factors
Demonstrate financial acumen
Mentor develop and influence across the business intentionally building cross-divisional relationships
Develop key relationships with industry/market thought leaders organizations and institutions and translate business insights into future business strategy.
Routinely make decisions which may affect immediate operations and have a divisional impact
Required qualifications
Bachelors degree
8 years of work experience
clinical or procedural experience in JR
Preferred Qualifications
5 years medical device or Medical Education experience preferred
2 years of people management experience preferred
Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience managing multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word & PowerPoint)
$100500-$215300 salary plus bonus eligible benefits. Individual pay is based on skills experience and other relevant factors.
