Job Summary

  • Keep in constant touch with the customer at various levels i.e. the purchase department the R&D department

  • To understand their current future and long term production plans and hence their requirement from ZRAI.

  • To maintain and enhance Share Of Business (SOB)

  • To identify and understand issues at the right time and facilitate solution

  • To be in a position to pitch for further business at the right time i.e. when the customer plans a new model or an increase in production numbers new assembly plant etc.

  • Judge and forecast customer requirement

  • Give inputs for the Marketing Head for the Strategic Business Planning (SBP)

  • Procure annual business plan from the customer ensure SOB

  • Initiate and participate in the price negotiations with the customer

  • Give the customer a forecast (OP)

  • Ensure that the plant gets equipped for the production volume and schedule

  • Procure monthly schedule from customer interact with plant to draw up a dispatch schedule communicate to customer

  • Ensure that the schedules are adhered

  • Interact with the plant to prepare monthly dispatch plan based on customer requirement

  • Keep customer informed of the status

  • Keep customer and plant informed of changed schedules

  • Participate in the pricing discussions for new product

  • Interact with customer and PD

  • Track the dispatches sent by premium freight on a daily basis

  • Ensure better forecasting of requirement and scheduling of dispatch to reduce the dispatches by premium freight

  • Customer knowledge - AL - Alwar AL - Pant Nagar AL - Lucknow
