The Compliance Lead is responsible for leading developing and overseeing the organizations compliance framework to ensure adherence to applicable federal state and industry regulations. Working remotely this role provides strategic and operational leadership for compliance initiatives risk mitigation and regulatory readiness. The Compliance Lead partners with executive leadership legal counsel and cross-functional teams to maintain a strong culture of compliance and ethical conduct.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design implementation and ongoing management of compliance programs and controls
Monitor regulatory changes and assess organizational impact
Develop maintain and enforce compliance policies procedures and standards
Conduct risk assessments compliance reviews and internal audits
Serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory and compliance matters
Provide guidance and training to employees and leadership on compliance requirements
Oversee issue remediation corrective action plans and regulatory reporting
Coordinate with internal and external auditors regulators and legal counsel
Track and report compliance metrics findings and trends to senior leadership
Promote ethical business practices and a strong compliance culture across the organization
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Law Risk Management or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance risk management or regulatory roles
Demonstrated leadership experience managing compliance programs
Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory environments (e.g. healthcare financial services data privacy or government regulations)
Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (JD MBA or Masters in Compliance or Risk Management)
Professional certifications such as CRCM CHC CCEP or CIA
Experience supporting multi-state or national operations
Familiarity with data privacy and cybersecurity regulations
Experience interacting with regulators and auditors
Annual Compensation
Salary Range: $110000 $160000 per year based on experience certifications and regulatory domain expertise
