Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager of Labor & Delivery to join our team in Savannah GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and delivery nursing as well as previous management experience. This is a full-time position with 8-hour day shifts. Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the labor and delivery unit ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow - Manage and mentor a team of nurses and support staff providing guidance and support as needed - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans - Monitor and maintain unit budgets ensuring resources are utilized effectively - Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices implementing changes as needed to improve patient outcomes - Participate in hiring training and evaluating staff members - Handle any patient or staff concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner - Collaborate with other department managers to promote a positive and cohesive work environment Qualifications: - Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia - Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required Masters degree preferred - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing - Previous management experience in a healthcare setting - Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of labor and delivery best practices and current trends in the field - Familiarity with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology - BLS and ACLS certifications required NRP certification preferred Benefits: - Competitive salary - Comprehensive benefits package including medical dental and vision insurance - 401(k) retirement plan with company match - Paid time off and holidays - Professional development opportunities - Supportive and collaborative work environment If you are a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Manager of Labor & Delivery looking for a new opportunity to make a positive impact on patient care we encourage you to apply for this position.
