The Survey Enumerator is in charge of doing surveys gathering information and making sure that the answers from study participants are correct and complete. The Enumerator works from home and uses the phone email or online platforms to talk to respondents and follow standard procedures for administering questionnaires. This job helps with research projects studies of public policy market research or efforts to gather data for an organization. The Survey Enumerator makes sure that all data is gathered in accordance with ethical standards and the rules of the organization.
Main Duties:
Use standardized scripts and questionnaires to conduct surveys and interviews with participants.
In the right data systems collect and record survey answers that are correct and complete.
Keep participant information private and follow data protection rules.
Check review and confirm survey answers to make sure they are correct and consistent.
Be polite and professional when talking to people who answer your questions.
Help participants with their questions or problems and if necessary escalate more difficult ones.
Meet daily weekly or project-specific goals for collecting surveys.
Work with supervisors and research teams to help with study protocols and quality control.
Take part in training sessions and stay up to date on how to do surveys.
Make reports or summaries as needed by the research or project team
Qualifications Needed:
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required but a bachelors degree in social sciences statistics public policy or a related field is preferred.
Its best if you have experience with survey administration data collection or research assistance.
Good at talking to and getting along with others
Attention to detail and a dedication to gathering accurate data
Ability to work alone and manage time well in a remote setting
Basic computer skills and experience with survey or data collection software
Preferred Skills:
Experience gathering both quantitative and qualitative data
Knowledge of survey tools like Qualtrics SurveyMonkey or REDCap
Knowledge of the rules of research ethics and privacy
Experience in reaching out to the community or getting people involved
Pay for the Year:
Salary Range: $35000 to $50000 a year depending on how much experience you have how hard the project is and how many hours you work.
