Job Summary
Air Liquide began operations in Malaysia in 1927 and is one of the pioneers of the gas industry in Malaysia. Operating in 11 locations in Malaysia comprising both sales offices and production facilities Air Liquide supports our customers through providing innovative solutions at every step of their production including industrial and specialty gases energy solutions application technologies and services. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
1. Execute and supervise maintenance activities are carried out in a safe manner compliance to AL group standards and rules and local statutory and
regulatory requirements.
- Assist in enforcing HSE initiatives and compliance program
- Liaise with local authorities to ensure compliance with local rules and legislation
2. Coordinate with operations personnel at cylinder filling sites on plant maintenance activities
- Coordinate with operation team in planning / scheduling plant maintenance activities to improve on equipment reliability and reduce the downtime
- Arrange manpower and tools to support the maintenance activities
- Support operation team in troubleshooting resolving plant equipment issues
3. Perform equipment and plant maintenance
- Perform maintenance planning based on Maintenance Program for plant equipment in airgas dissolved acetylene plant hydrogen and specialty gas
filing plant
- Plan and monitor forklift maintenance by third party.
- Plan and monitor fire fighting system inspection by fire contractor
- Monitor equipment condition and report to superior in case of abnormality
- Maintain and record the maintenance service report and involve in ISO audit.
4. Perform pallet and manifold maintenance
- Perform cylinder pallets supports and other production related welding assigned.
- Perform cylinder manifold repairing and fabrication job.
5. Supervise maintenance activities are carried out by the external contractor in a safe manner compliance to AL group standards and rules and local
statutory and regulatory requirements
6. Spare part inventory management
- Update the stock master list for microbulk and plant spare part
- Restock the spare part
7. Decision Making
- Initiate Stop Work Authority (to stop an unsafe action or condition.) when needed and provide support when someone else initiates
Are you a MATCH
1. At least 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing industry
2. Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
3. Basic computer skills and the ability to read and write basic English
4. Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks as required
