Job Summary
This role provides financial leadership to the Honeywell GPE (Global Project Execution) team based out of India China Romania Egypt & Mexico which is the division responsible for providing Project Engineering services remote and on-site support for HONs global portfolio of automation projects. This is a very high exposure and high empowerment role that will provide key financial data to make informed business decisions for the UOP/Project Engineering/GES teams. We look for an ambitious individual with solid background and an enormous drive to explore and develop people.
This position will be part of HTCS Global Finance and is based out of Pune.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the VP- GPE UOP and GES Leaders to provide sound financial analysis to facilitate informed business-decision making
- Deliver strong and dynamic leadership of all Commercial Finance aspects
- Ability to navigate through complex finance and business issues
- Own manage and standardize key business processes such as the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Monthly Business Review (MBR) Financial Analysis and Forecasts and drive results in P&L
- Drive compliance and Process improvement around international travel Foreign Office (Secondment / PE related processes) Managing STPI SEZ and other business processes.
- Provide strong leadership in driving working capital opportunities
- Manage financial performance and implement finance strategies across different business units to achieve committed business performance and targets
- Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to the senior management
- Develop detailed financial models and provide business leaders with a What If analysis and recommendations
- Work effectively with CFT within Honeywell Finance operating Model (Controllership Fin Ops GFC & Tax) to ensure smooth business operations (Effective Audits Compliance with Honeywell policies Financial close Treasury ReportingIdentification of potential future Tax issues & Resolution).
- Manage team of Finance & Commercial team members
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- CA / MBA with 17 - 20 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Having worked with Oil & Gas Energy Automation or related Industries is preferred
- Time Zone flexible due to global reporting environment
- Familiar and comfortable with Large complex Matrix organizations
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex solutions without supervision
- Strong leadership mentoring and people-management skills
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
- Strong work ethic with hands-on approach
- Ability to communicate financial data to non-financial audience
