GDS Service Delivery Manager
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join and lead our growing SAP business unit. As a service delivery manager you will be responsible for the overall delivery of SAP services. You will play a critical role in leading and managing the delivery of the team ensuring successful execution and delivery of all engagements driving growth opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships.

To qualify for the role you must have:
Bachelors degree in related technology field (Computer Engineering Science etc.) or comparable job experiences.
At least 15 years working experience at least 8 years of experience in a leadership role focused on Application Management
Deep understanding of PMP ITIL and/or ITSM processes and methodology and how it interacts with the project lifecycle and/or application lifecycle management principles
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale applications in a complex multi-platform environment
Extensive experience in service delivery management and client management as well as project management working with various regions in a global setting
Depth of experience in setting up growing transforming and delivering application management teams
Strong leadership and team building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels in the organization
Strong client management analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think strategically and make data driven decisions
Relevant Service Delivery Certifications (ie. ITIL PMP etc)

Key Responsibilities:
a) Team Leadership
Lead and mentor the entire engagement project team fostering culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement
Enable growth and development of accounts being handled
Have been engaged in at least 2-3 global clients in onshore-offshore model
Lead team strategies to support key metrics and goals
b) Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities contributing to revenue growth and market expansion within GDS and across EY
Work with pursuit and EY member firms to create solutions with compelling value propositions for clients around Application Management
Develop business case business KPIs and Benefits Realization plan and measure KPIs
c) Technology Excellence
Have a good understanding of SAP landscape functions and infrastructure which is valuable in understanding the service delivery landscape and effectively communicate with technical teams
Stay ahead of new technologies industry best practices and market trends to hone the skills and capabilities of the competency
Drive adoption of new technologies and methodologies
Understand current IT environment and industry IT Trends to identify the engagement and client service issues
Should have a mindset of continuous improvement. They should proactively identify areas for improvement implement process enhancements and drive efficiency in service delivery.
d) Client Engagement
Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and challenges
Foster strong client relationships ensuring client satisfaction and delivery success through management and leadership of large scale engagements and projects with ability to run client status meetings escalation management discussions and deliver executive level presentations that drive actions and decisions
e) Financial Management
Knowledge of budgeting cost management and financial planning to ensure that the delivery stays within the budget and aligns with the financial goals
