A diverse and inclusive primary school in the heart of Westminster is seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) SEMH needs ADHD speech and language difficulties and learning challenges. Support will be provided on a 1:1 basis and within small groups depending on pupil needs and EHCP requirements.

The SEN provision is well-established with a proactive SENCo and strong collaboration between teachers and support staff. Provide targeted SEN support within the classroom and intervention settings
Support pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Assist with communication development and social interaction
Help pupils access the curriculum through differentiated activities
Implement EHCP targets and individual support plans
Support pupils during transitions breaktimes and structured routines
Record observations and contribute to SEN reviews
Build positive relationships with pupils staff and families
Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting
Calm patient and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of behaviour management and inclusive practice
Willingness to engage in SEN training and professional development
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
