A supportive and inclusive primary school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with complex additional needs. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building strong relationships and providing consistent tailored support to help a child thrive academically socially and emotionally.
You will work closely with one pupil throughout the school day supporting learning emotional regulation and engagement with classroom routines. The pupil presents with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) communication difficulties and sensory processing needs requiring a calm patient and structured approach.

Provide consistent 1:1 SEN support throughout the school day
Support the pupil with emotional regulation and sensory needs
Assist with accessing the curriculum and classroom activities
Implement strategies outlined in the pupils EHCP and support plan
Promote independence confidence and positive behaviour
Support transitions between activities and environments
Observe record and report pupil progress
Work closely with the class teacher SENCo and external professionals
Experience supporting pupils with Autism and complex needs
Calm patient and emotionally resilient
Confident using visual supports and structured routines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
Candidates with backgrounds in SEN education care psychology or autism support are encouraged to apply.
