Job Summary

As Business Development Manager you will be the bridge between market demand and optical innovation: spotting trends before they peak uncovering fresh use-cases for our current portfolio shaping the roadmap for next-generation products and partnering with our sales team to turn opportunities into sustainable short thrive by translating technical potential into real-world value.

Tasks

  • Strategic development of Optotunes business in laser applications
  • Acquisition of new customers worldwide
  • Market research & definition of new products
  • Creation of sales & training materials business plans and go-to-market strategies
  • Content creation for marketing materials
  • Participation in trade shows

Requirements

  • Must have technical background (MSc or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical sales preferably in optics/photonics
  • Experience in management consulting advantageous
  • Ability to identify new customers build up & maintain relationships
  • Ability to understand customers technical requirements and suggest solutions
  • Passion for technology & innovation winning personality well organized autonomous and prepared to travel internationally
  • Excellent knowledge of English good knowledge of German other languages advantageous
  • Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
