Corporate Finance M&A Analyst (mfd)

We are looking for a new Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in Amsterdam.

Tasks

• Actively identifying and assessing potential target investment companies
• Conduct thorough research on selected target companies including financial (modelling) strategic and competitor analysis
• Analysis preparation and drafting presentations of company profiles market and sector reports information memorandums and transaction documentation (for sell- and buy-side purposes)
• Collaborate with senior team members in marketing and origination activities
• Assist in preparing historical and projected financial statements
• Analysis of financial implications of mergers and acquisitions
• Conduct valuation analysis

Requirements

• An effective team player and highly motivated self-starter with strong communication skills tenacity and market research skills
• Excellent Dutch & English language skills (written & spoken)
• Outstanding interpersonal presentational adaptability and time management skills
• Strong academics with a completed university degree in fields such as Economics Finance Accounting Business or a science study with financial affinity
• Previous experience with exposure to transactions from within Corporate Finance Transaction Services Consulting or Private Equity. Operational/in-house experience will also be considered
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting
• Highly proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills
