Sterile Processing Technician Night Shift

Location: Hyannis MA
Schedule: Night Shift (10:00 PM6:00 AM or 11:00 PM7:00 AM)
Hours: Full-Time 40 hrs/week Rotating weekends/holidays On-call as needed
Weekly Travel Pay: $1204.50

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to support overnight surgical and clinical operations. Responsible for decontamination assembly sterilization storage and distribution of medical instruments while maintaining strict infection control standards. Must be able to work independently on night shift.

Key Responsibilities

Decontaminate clean inspect assemble wrap label and sterilize instruments
Operate sterilizers washer-disinfectors ultrasonic cleaners and related equipment
Select appropriate sterilization methods and document load/testing results
Store track and distribute sterile supplies per preference cards
Assist with inventory control and maintain a clean organized workspace
Provide customer-focused support to clinical staff and participate in on-call rotation

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Medical Terminology and Anatomy & Physiology (coursework or facility exam)
Minimum 3 years recent SPD experience or active SPD certification (or ability to obtain)
Strong attention to detail computer skills and communication skills
Technician III level candidates preferred with advanced SPD certifications
