The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties. This role requires strong technical expertise adherence to sterile technique and the ability to function effectively in a high-acuity fast-paced surgical environment.
Mid shift: 1:00 PM 11:30 PM (4x10s)
On-call requirement: Yes
Block scheduling: Facility may attempt to accommodate but is not guaranteed
RTO: Minimal requests preferred
First-time travelers: Not accepted

Active RN license required
BLS required
Pending licenses not accepted
Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience
Prior travel experience required
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Must demonstrate strong experience across multiple surgical specialties including but not limited to:

Gastric bypass gastric sleeve lap band
Laparoscopic-assisted procedures
Appendectomy cholecystectomy colon resection hernia repairs
PEG tube placement/exchange Whipple procedures
Vascular & Cardiothoracic
Aortic aneurysm repair (open & endovascular)
Carotid endarterectomy carotid angioplasty/stenting
Femoral-popliteal bypass renal artery bypass
Thoracotomy VATS lung and lobe resections mediastinoscopy
ENT & Head/Neck
Endoscopic sinus procedures
Septoplasty/rhinoplasty
Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy
Laryngectomy radical neck dissection tracheostomy bronchoscopy
Neuro & Spine
Craniotomy VP shunt insertion
Cervical lumbar anterior spinal fusions (ALIF XLIF)
Laminectomy discectomy
Orthopedic & Trauma
Total joint replacements
Open/closed fracture reductions
Arthroscopy arthrotomy
ACL reconstruction spinal fusion
Plastics & Reconstruction
Abdominoplasty breast augmentation
Fat grafting free flap/microvascular procedures
Mastectomy with TRAM flap reconstruction
Urology & GYN
Hysterectomy (abdominal/vaginal)
D&C tubal ligation colporrhaphy
Cystoscopy cystectomy nephrectomy prostatectomy TURP

Urinary bladder catheterization
High-acuity multi-specialty OR
Strong experience required in Ortho/Total Joint & Trauma Neuro GYN/Urology Vascular and Thoracic cases
Floating may be required within scope of competency
