Job Summary
his masters thesis project aims to assess the readiness of Dutch Distribution System Operators (DSOs) with a primary focus on Alliander for implementing the upcoming EU Network Code on Demand Response (NCDR). The project will apply a structured readiness and maturity model to evaluate technical organizational and regulatory preparedness. It will identify current capabilities benchmark Dutch DSOs and analyze potential gaps. The research will support Alliander in aligning its flexibility procurement data exchange systems and TSO-DSO coordination with NCDR compliance by 2027. The outcomes will contribute to informing internal roadmaps and identifying actionable steps to facilitate smoother regulatory adoption.
