Position Summary:

The role is responsible for assisting with the setup reset and packdown of furniture required for the delivery of meetings and events within Venue and Event Services managed spaces. Normal hours of work will include morning evenings weekdays and weekends on a designated basisis determined by event bookings.

This role will:

Setup furniture and linen for meetings events and classes as required neatly and on time.

Furniture movements between venues relating to events

Keeping storerooms neat and tidy

Follow instructions provided by Venue Assistants and Venue Operations Manager

Read crew briefs and assist with ensuring venue presentation standards are delivered.

Align with and actively demonstrate the UNSW Values in Action: Our Behaviours and the UNSW Code of Conduct.

Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.

A person engaged is generally e xpected to have the following:

Ability to read instructions and follow information

Good communication skills

Good time management
