Jardeg will be recruiting B-Pressure Rig Weldersto join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team for various TURNAROUND events taking place in Central and Northern Alberta. Determine what is the right choice for you as there are options- we have remote jobs where you stay in camp starting as early as early-mid January and jobs that are more localized to the Edmonton and Calgary area that allows you to be home every day. Duration and shift rotations are TBA for now but typically are either a 6/1 or a 24/4.

Rig Welders- are expected to be proficient with double jointing position welding and roll welding on both pipe and pipe fittings. Welding will be completed in both yard and field environment. Welders join or sever metals in beams girders vessels piping and other metal components make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants and weld parts tools machines and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Weld up to 30 inches (FDI) per day when material is available (some welds may be customized while others may be repetitive procedures to complete the work)
Use welding processes such as SMAW and FCAW to weld pressure piping
Follow various company policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements:

Successful completion of Drug & Alcohol tests
Journeyperson Ticket
ABSA B-Pressure Certificate
ESC Common Safety Orientation
ESC Confined Space & Monitor
ESC Fall Protection
Basic Rigging
Valid Drivers License
Welding tickets and/or welder performance qualification testing required - as per Sites Performance Qualification testing of welders guidelines- TBA
