Job Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Assistant for a temporary contract assignment supporting an outpatient clinical setting. This role is responsible for assisting healthcare providers with both clinical and patient-care functions while ensuring a high standard of service safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately obtain and document patient vital signs
Assist healthcare providers with clinical examinations and procedures
Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing
Prepare patients and examination rooms for visits
Document patient information in EPIC electronic medical records (EMR)
Deliver compassionate professional patient care
Maintain compliance with clinical quality safety and infection-control standards

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (required)
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program (required)
Active BLS certification
Medical Assistant certification (AAMA-CMA or AMT-RMA)
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
Experience with EPIC EMR
Strong clinical skills including vital signs assisting with procedures point-of-care testing and phlebotomy
Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills
