Weekend Mental Health Therapist

Hourly Pay: $45 to $50 an hour

Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Are you passionate about helping teens navigate their mental health journey As a Mental Health Therapist at Embark Behavioral Health youll collaborate with a dedicated team to support adolescents (ages 12-17) in their healing and growth at our short-term residential program. Every weekend youll lead individual group and family therapy sessions and use relational systemic and experiential modalities to help teens process emotions strengthen relationships and develop effective coping strategies. • Facilitate Individual Family and Group Therapy: Lead group therapy sessions that include process-oriented psycho-educational and experiential modalities with a focus on trauma-informed care and adolescent development.

• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with therapists nurses and medical providers to ensure continuity and consistency of care.

• Prepare and Reflect: Allocate time for session planning documentation and professional development to maintain clinical excellence and alignment with the programs therapeutic goals.

• Engage Adolescents with Intentional Practice: Create a safe inclusive environment where teens can explore emotions build skills and experience growth through weekend programming.

• Maintain Timely Documentation: Complete clear accurate group notes and progress summaries within required timelines to support collaborative treatment planning.

• Model Professional and Personal Growth: Participate in ongoing learning opportunities and embody Embarks values of adaptability empathy and holistic care. This is a perfect opportunity for those working on their licensing clinical hours!

• Support Clinical Culture: Contribute to a weekend environment of consistency trust and therapeutic engagement upholding a high standard of care.

• Clinical license required LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) & LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker.)
• Must be prepared to establish a CAQH profile and obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) as part of the onboarding process.
• Strong clinical skills with a commitment to evidence-based practices
• Passion for counseling teens and young adults struggling with mental health challenges
• Ability to incorporate clinical diagnostic and assessments to monitor client progress and treatment outcomes
• Experience in residential settings and relational experiential and systemic modalities preferred
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role including frequent standing walking across a large campus and responding safely and effectively during crisis situations.
