Senior Capability Designer

If yes you might be the next Senior Capability Designer in Sofigates Capability Design team.

What you will do

You will help our customers design and steer business transformation at scale. Your work spans strategy operating models capability design organisational structures data-enabled ways of working and transformation planning.

In this role you will:

• Lead capability mapping operating model design and transformation roadmap assignments for large and complex organisations.

• Facilitate workshops and discussions with C-level and senior stakeholders ensuring alignment and clarity.

• Shape problem statements and lead structured problem-solving in dynamic and often ambiguous environments.

• Turn insights into clear visual deliverables recommendations and business cases.

• Guide and mentor more junior designers helping them grow in structured thinking and design skills.

• Take a lead role in larger multi-track or strategically critical client engagements.

• Contribute to the development of Sofigates capability design methods frameworks and community.

You will collaborate closely with process experts platform specialists and transformation teams to ensure that your designs translate into practical real-world change.

Who we are looking for

You might be a great fit if you have:

• 410 years of relevant experience in consulting business design operating model development transformation design strategy execution or process improvement.

• Strong ability to structure complex topics synthesize insights and create clarity.

• Confidence in facilitating and engaging with senior leaders including C-level.

• Excellent analytical story lining and visual communication skills.

• Experience designing capability structures operating models value streams governance models or transformation portfolios.

• Curiosity for modern digital platforms data and AI and how they reshape business operations and ways of working.

• Industry exposure (e.g. manufacturing logistics financial services energy public sector) giving you practical insight into how organisations really function.

• Fluency in both Finnish and English (due to customer needs)
