Job Summary
Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect
Job Summary
The Cloud Infrastructure Architect will provide expert consulting architectural oversight and technical support during Phase 3 of the project. The role is responsible for overseeing the implementation integration security and optimization of cloud infrastructure platforms ensuring compliance with approved architectures project timelines security standards and operational requirements through to the issuance of the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC).
The consultant will work closely with system integrators cloud engineers vendors and stakeholders to ensure the cloud environment is delivered secure scalable and production-ready.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Oversight
Monitor and oversee cloud infrastructure implementation activities to ensure adherence to the approved project plan scope timelines and milestones.
Support the client in tracking progress risks issues and dependencies related to cloud infrastructure deliverables.
Ensure compliance with contractual architectural and governance requirements.
Cloud Architecture & Implementation
Provide architectural guidance on cloud infrastructure design including compute storage networking identity and platform services.
Review and validate cloud architecture designs landing zones network topology and deployment models.
Ensure scalability high availability performance and resilience of the cloud infrastructure.
Security Governance & Compliance
Ensure cloud environments comply with security best practices regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Oversee implementation of identity and access management (IAM) network security encryption logging and monitoring.
Support cloud governance frameworks cost management and operational controls.
Integration & Operations Readiness
Oversee integration between cloud platforms on-premise systems and third-party services.
Support implementation of backup disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
Ensure operational readiness including monitoring alerting and incident management processes.
Stakeholder Coordination
Facilitate coordination between system integrators cloud service providers security teams and business stakeholders.
Participate in architecture reviews technical workshops and project status meetings.
Act as a trusted advisor to the client on cloud infrastructurerelated matters.
Technical Support & Issue Resolution
Identify analyze and resolve technical or operational challenges related to cloud infrastructure deployment and operations.
Provide expert technical support in specialized cloud domains as required during the implementation phase.
Testing Validation & Acceptance
Support infrastructure testing performance validation and security assessments.
Review implementation outcomes to ensure alignment with approved designs and service-level requirements.
Provide guidance and oversight until successful project completion and issuance of the Completion Certificate / Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC).
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related discipline.
Cloud architecture certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 6 years of experience in infrastructure and cloud architecture roles.
Proven experience delivering large-scale cloud infrastructure or hybrid cloud projects.
Experience in PMC or consulting roles during implementation phases.
Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS Azure or Google Cloud).
Demonstrated experience supporting projects through go-live and Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) stages.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure networking and security architecture.
Deep understanding of high availability disaster recovery and scalability principles.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code automation and cloud operations.
Strong stakeholder management communication and documentation skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex environments.

Oversight and status reports on cloud infrastructure implementation.
Architecture reviews recommendations and compliance assessments.
Validation of security performance and operational readiness.
Support through project completion and issuance of the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC).
