You will perform comprehensive labor assessments monitor fetal and maternal status with the latest equipment interpret tracings and collaborate closely with obstetricians midwives anesthesia and the neonatal team to ensure safe deliveries and optimal outcomes. You will administer medications manage pain relief options assist with vaginal births and cesarean sections and provide immediate postpartum stabilization and teaching to new families. Youll lead patient and family education discharge planning and coordination of postnatal follow-up all while maintaining meticulous documentation and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and state regulations. A strong emphasis on teamwork patient advocacy and safety culture will guide your daily actions and youll have ongoing access to clinical mentorship simulation training and opportunities to expand your expertise in obstetric emergencies neonatal care and lactation support.
