Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing and we are looking to hire a Laboratory Testing Technician working from our laboratory in Pittsburgh PA @ Nova Place location with a start date on or before January 15 2026.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Laboratory Testing Technician

A typical day for the laboratory testing technician involves sample processing performing quality control checks and providing overall laboratory support. The technician works with equipment setup for staining and imaging prepares reagents manages specimens and assists with inventory and quality management activities. This role will spend the majority of time on three primary functions: equipment setup monitoring and maintenance; conducting inventory checks and stocking consumables; and managing slide specimens including archiving tracking and storage.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least an associates degree in biological science (i.e. biology chemistry etc.)
• Laboratory work experience required.
• Proven flexibility and dependable performance

SCHEDULE

• Monday - Friday 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm exempt position working from our Pittsburgh PA @ Nova Place laboratory.
• The role may require flexibility to meet operational needs.
