POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse assigned performs a variety of direct patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly as well as accommodating a variety of needs specific to impairments such as hearing sight substance abuse language barriers and potential victims of knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights exceptional care and the hospitals values and mission into his/her performance of job patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Schedule: 32 Hours Days Every Other Weekend Part-Time Benefit Eligible

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
Must possess a valid Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant license or show proof of enrollment inaccredited nursing school and completion of the courses Fundamentals of Nursing I & II.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience as a nursing assistant strongly preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with staff and patients is required.
Must be able to prioritize multiple requests to ensure timeliness and provide exceptional patient care.
Must possess the skills to be compassionate empathetic and responsive to the needs of a variety of patients.
Software/Hardware: Computer experience is preferred. CPR.
Compensation Range:
$17.62- $26.18This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
