Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a passion for accuracy and compliance Were looking for a Financial Controller to join our team and support the Finance Manager in delivering timely and precise financial reporting reconciliations and tax compliance.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset a solid understanding of inter-company transactions and a knack for ensuring financial integrity across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Perform and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Investigate and resolve variances to ensure accuracy and completeness

Accounts Receivable & Bad Debt Provisions

Reconcile debtor accounts and review aging reports
Assist in calculating and maintaining accurate bad debt provisions
Identify and resolve mismatches within inter-company accounts

VAT & Tax Compliance

Assist with VAT calculations and ensure accurate timely SARS submissions
Support income tax and PAYE reporting processes
Respond to external audit queries
Contribute to the design implementation and testing of financial controls

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
Minimum of 3 years experience in a financial accounting role
Completion of SAIPA articles is an advantage
Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel
Strong knowledge of tax and regulatory compliance
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
