TheBanquet Bartenderis responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by developing relationships with guests providing personalized service anticipating and delivering guests needs. The ideal Bartender comprehends the cocktail/beverage menus prepares drinks as requested by our guests and serves drinks to our guests either directly or via service staff.
Hourly rate for this position is $31.66
Responsibilities
- Must have knowledge of a variety of alcoholic beverages must retain and maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items.
- Ensures compliance with all health safety sanitation awareness hotel standards and local laws.
- Responsible for ensuring high-quality bar sets service food and beverage quality and presentation.
- Check identification for proof of age when required.
- Respond to guests requests in an accurate and timely manner creating a positive outcome that will result in a memorable experience.
- Ensures prompt delivery and quality control from point of departure to arrival.
- Responsible to perform accurate POS procedures and cash/credit handling in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Attend all required department trainings and meetings.
Qualifications
- Candidate must have hands-on food and beverage knowledge and a comprehensive working knowledge of the hospitality business.
- Must possess strong knowledge of mixology beverage garnishes and overall beverage service to include liquor beer and wine knowledge.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events including nights weekends and holidays.
- Highly developed customer service skills; possessing a friendly approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple priorities.
- Serve Safe certified Unexpired TIPs required.
