We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Help Desk Specialist to join our dynamic IT team.
Tasks
As a Help Desk Specialist you will play a crucial role in analyzing our
customers information systems identifying areas for improvement and
proposing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. You
will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements
design system specifications and ensure seamless implementation of
changes. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset
exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate
effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong collaboration and team-oriented approach
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Handles inquiries from users for multiple applications. Performs basic user-problem analyses for the help desk
- Assists in conducting periodic user satisfaction surveys and tracking user problem trends
- Performs basic user-problem analyses for the help desk.
Qualifications:
- Serves as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software PC and printer problems
- Provide a high level of customer service to end users on a daily basis
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to validate system functionality and performance
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they effectively utilize the government-provided IT systems
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions
- Adhere to all Enterprise-wide security policies related to security and integrity of District-owned Resources
- Ability to multi-task and must be able to work in a team environment
- Well-developed presentation telephone and writing skills.
