Job Summary
Job Summary (MS/Tele RN)
- Position: Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
- Facility: 70-bed rural hospital
- Contract: 13 weeks possible extension
- Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hour day shifts (07:00-19:00) weekdays every other weekend
- Patient Ratio: 1 RN : 5 patients
- Patient Population: Adult acute care/telemetry occasional pediatric/adolescent
- Float Requirements: Must be willing to float to ER ICU and other units as needed
- Support: LPNs on night shift 24/7 House Supervisor support
- Certifications Required:
- BCLS
- ACLS
- Certifications Preferred:
- PALS
- Skills Required:
- Telemetry
- Skills Preferred:
- Pediatrics
- Charge nurse experience
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years acute care/telemetry RN experience
- Travel experience not required
- EMR: Cerner
- Scrubs: Not provided; Burgundy color required
- Submission Requirements:
- Candidate profile (work history)
- Specialty-specific skills checklist
- Minimum 2 Manager/Charge references (within past 2 years)
- RN license verification (NURSYS within 2 days of submittal)
- COVID vaccine status
- Copies of all required certifications
- Blocked Schedule: Must be requested upfront discussed at interview
