Job Summary
Title: Scientific Laboratory Technician Lv3
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Location: Memphis TN 38109
Duration: 03 Months
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
Responsibilities
Complete routine analytical and laboratory testing in support of food safety quality and operational teams
Perform routine analysis of in-process and final product testing
Check and monitor instrumentation performance
Conduct testing and document test results in databases
Communicate test results verbally and in writing
Use safe laboratory practices to protect self and others
Check proper functioning of laboratory stations
Routinely attend safety meetings
Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of complex standard equipment and instruments
Support trials and experiments under the direction of senior team members
Resolve problems by examining and evaluating data and selecting corrective steps
Assist with evaluation and interpretation of highly complex data
Identify problems with atypical test results and consult senior-level personnel
Maintain laboratory supplies by inventorying stock placing orders and verifying receipt
Handle complex clerical administrative technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision
Escalate only the most complex issues to appropriate staff
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma secondary education level or equivalent
Four years of related work experience
Proven working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and ISO 17025 accreditations or standards
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of experience within a laboratory or food manufacturing environment
Associate s degree with coursework experience within a laboratory environment preferable
