Night Shift: 07:00 PM to 04:00 AM
Note: This role requires 75% of Travel and prefer candidates who live close to a major airport for easier travel arrangements.

Job Description

The project manager will be responsible for overseeing on-site execution working night shifts (7 PM to 4 AM)
Managing third-party labor teams.
Executing a specific phasing plan. Ensuring the phasing plan is completed entirely for each night.
Escalating any issues that arise during the nights work or forecasting potential issues.
Maintaining in-depth communication between site operations and senior leadership.
Candidates need to live close to a major airport for easier travel arrangements.
The job requires being prepared to travel Monday through Friday for the duration of the 9-month assignment minus major federal holidays. - The goal is to assign one project at a time so travel would likely be to a consistent location for about 5-6 months. Theres a possibility that midway through the assignment (around the 5-6 month mark) they might have to travel to different locations week over week if assigned to two projects.
The work involves retrofitting existing client grocery buildings modifying them to meet new design requirements and customer needs.
Responsibilities include design review ordering shelving overseeing installation of new shelving through third-party contractors and ensuring all work meets permitted standards and food health safety standards.
The project manager needs to be able to work in a live operational environment making changes to buildings while theyre still running without impacting customer or associate experience.
The role requires strong communication skills technological proficiency (including use of computers email Microsoft software and potentially CAD or other specialized software) and the ability to travel continuously.
The HM emphasized that this is a travel-intensive role with night work requiring flexibility and the ability to work in various locations across the client location.

Current responsibilities include:

Design review
Ordering shelving
Installing/overseeing installation of new shelving through third-party contractors
Ensuring work meets permitted standards
Ensuring work meets food health safety standards
Preparing buildings to be turned over to operations for live pickup products

Role interesting:

Travel around the client locations.
This is an experience that you wont get anywhere else in terms of interacting in a live operational environment with complexities that you dont see at your major grocery stores or retailers
Get to learn a lot about the different brands of shelving and manufacturers throughout the country that support and supply of both client but other companies with the country.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must live near a major airport/metropolitan city
Read Composite / Drawings
Understand / know how to use a computer Microsoft products smart sheets BIM360 Bluebeam and CAD
Strong communication and ability to make decision in high pressure situations.
Experienced Projects before.
Travel: Willingness to travel 75%
Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Prior client employee experience would be beneficial
Financial Acumen: Experience with financial analysis is a plus.
PMP certified
Engineering or Construction Background
