Job Summary
About the Opportunity
We operate in the industrial manufacturing and electrical equipment engineering sector delivering electrical systems control panels and automation solutions for heavy machinery and process lines. This is an on-site engineering role based in India focused on power distribution control systems and field commissioning for manufacturing plants.
Rajputana Industries is hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team and drive design installation testing and maintenance of electrical systems across plant projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and validate electrical power distribution systems: create single-line diagrams panel layouts and perform cable sizing and load calculations.
- Produce and maintain electrical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD Electrical and support BOM preparation for procurement.
- Configure program and troubleshoot PLC-based control logic and integrate with SCADA/DCS for automation and supervisory control.
- Perform protection studies relay coordination and short-circuit/fault analysis (using ETAP or similar) and define protection settings.
- Lead installation testing commissioning and preventive maintenance activities for LV/HV equipment MCCs transformers and control panels onsite.
- Ensure compliance with IEC/IS electrical standards implement electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures and maintain project documentation and test reports.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./) and proven experience in industrial/manufacturing electrical projects.
