Roles & Responsibilities for a Data Engineer:
Participate in creating systems that help ingest data from various sources.
Learn and implement flows with guidance on distributed systems and cloud architecture.
Write efficient and well-documented code under supervision.
Help in the scheduling and monitoring of data pipelines.
Assist in writing queries for analysis under guidance.
Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and effectively communicate task details.
Develop and manage Power BI dashboards and reports.
Create complex SQL queries to pull analyse and interpret data from various sources.
Work closely with data architects data scientists and other stakeholders to ensure optimal data solutions.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
0-2 year of experience or internship in the related field is preferable.
Basic understanding or exposure to BI / Data Warehouse design concepts.
Eagerness to learn about delivering data science components.
Willingness to collaborate with product and engineering teams.
Good communication skills for team-based work.
Ability to work with guidance and follow workflows.
Interest or basic knowledge in dashboard data visualization software/AI tools such as PowerBI Tableau Splunk Apache Spark is a plus.
