Job Title: Manufacturing Specialist Nutraceuticals
Type: Contract-to-hire
Pay: $25-$26/hr
A globally recognized nutritional supplement and wellness organization with over 30 years of success is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Specialist to join their team. In this role you will play a key part in maintaining our high standards of product quality and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure mix blend and bottle materials following established manufacturing procedures.
- Follow Batch Production Records (BPRs) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company guidelines.
- Monitor and document product quality throughout production.
- Pull categorize and file product samples.
- Set up operate clean and maintain production equipment.
- Assist with ingredient procurement and product testing.
- Create and maintain regulatory and quality documentation.
- Operate sachet-making and other manufacturing machinery.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies GMP standards and safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and carry up to 50 lbs. over short distances.
- Familiarity with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer skills (data entry documentation)
- Up to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Team-oriented with a proactive and dependable work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in herbal nutraceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Hands-on experience operating high-speed mixers fermenters scales or microscopes.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
