Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to support a busy hotel environment by maintaining clean safe and welcoming public areas. This role focuses on cleaning sanitizing and restocking common spaces while providing professional interaction with guests and staff.
The Housekeeping role involves daily cleaning of public areas following schedules and safety standards and communicating effectively with supervisors and team members.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize public areas including lobbies hallways elevators and restrooms
Refill supplies such as soap paper towels and restroom essentials
Vacuum carpets mop floors dust surfaces and polish fixtures
Remove trash and maintain cleanliness in assigned areas
Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to supervisors
Follow cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks daily
Maintain a friendly and professional attitude with guests and coworkers
Comply with company and OSHA safety policies
Required Qualifications
Housekeeping janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform standing bending and movement throughout the shift
Reliable attendance and willingness to work weekends
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
