Job Overview
The ECA & CCA Incharge collaborates with the school team to promote high standards of educational practices and holistic student development in alignment with NVNs philosophy. This role demands enthusiasm clear communication patience and goal-oriented leadership while being guided by school management.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and Coordination
Prepare an annual ECA & CCA calendar in collaboration with Heads of School and share it with all departments.
Organize inter-house and inter-school competitions arts/music events and other co-curricular initiatives.
Coordinate with the CO-MCB incharge to publish activity options to parents by June 5 and finalize student enrollments by June 15.
Segregate students level-wise by end of July based on performance.
Conduct 3 assessments (Primary) and 4 assessments (Secondary) annually assigning grades accordingly.
Activity Management
Schedule and oversee extra-curricular classes (e.g. visual/performing arts clay modeling).
Maintain accurate records of attendance and performance.
Support safety standards and coach requirements.
Identify and nurture student talents and potential.
Daily Duties
ECA
Monitor execution of daily ECA classes as per schedule.
Conduct random checks on student participation and attendance.
Identify individual student skillsets for advanced support.
Regularly interact with coaches to assess and address training gaps.
CCA
Ensure smooth execution of weekly CCA activities.
Coordinate time slots for student practice.
Collect participant lists via House Masters for uploading to MCB.
Weekly Duties
ECA
Finalize the weekly plan by Friday.
Track student progress and identify those for Hobby Clubs.
Observe execution quality and report gaps in weekly meetings.
Collect absentee data from teachers and follow up with students.
Ensure syllabus coverage reports are uploaded by Saturday.
Coordinate with Parent Coordinators for parental feedback.
CCA
Plan modalities for upcoming CCA activities and present them in HOI meetings.
Confirm participants 10 days in advance and upload data in MCB.
Raise material indents 15 days prior and ensure arrangements.
Update reports (ECA/CCA) in MCB by Saturday.
Attend weekly HOI meetings and maintain minutes.
Organize ECA staff meetings every Saturday and document minutes.
Finalize circulars and judge panels one week in advance.
Periodical Duties
Finalize and brief house masters on responsibilities.
Prepare and submit an annual budget for ECA/CCA activities.
Conduct student assessments every 6 weeks and monitor level-wise progression.
Identify and prepare students for external competitions.
Track and update external achievements and CBSE cluster event participation in MCB.
Qualifications
Masters Degree in a relevant field with .
10 years of experience in ECA/CCA coordination.
Proficient in MS Office.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Team player with good interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Education or a related field. Teaching certification. Proven experience as a Primary Social science Teacher (1 - 3) years Excellent Communication Skills. Strong passion for education and fostering a love for Social Science in young learners Should have good knowledge of subject with good experience. Students handling skills in the classroom.
