Description
Job Summary:
Service Advisors listen to customers description of vehicle issues asks follow-up questions to better assess the problem inspects the vehicle on intake determines the source of the issue and provides suggestions for the best way to fix the vehicle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generates pre-work order information including warranty and customer contract;
- Responds to customer requests regarding recalls and product information;
- Prioritizes and controls comeback service orders;
- Repair order documentation: complaint cause and correction;
- Schedules appointments;
- Keeps customers informed about repair progress and status;
- Performs other related duties consistent with the role; this does not preclude management from assigning additional though unrelated duties.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Valid Driving License
- Acceptable Driving Record
