Job Summary
Tele-Consultants Inc. (TCI) is actively seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT).
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare implement and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.
- Plan implement upgrade and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network.
- Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risk and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.
- Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Computer Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent.
- 10 years of professional experience with cybersecurity engineering.
- 7 years experience performing RMF and Cybersecurity systems engineering tasking.
- Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570.1M.
Additional Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Cybersecurity Systems Engineering.
- Strong technical communication skills.
The nature of this position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a thorough background investigation.
The primary location for performance of the work will be Newport RI occasional travel.
